Vickie purchased Personal Touch Salon at 106 N. Main St. in Wauconda in 1986, making it Vickie’s Personal Touch Ltd. Over the years the salon expanded and outgrew the shop on Main Street. Less than a mile down the street the empty property at 349 S. Barrington Rd. was purchased and a new building was designed to fit the needs of Vickie’s Personal Touch Ltd. The building was finished and the business was relocated in September 2007. This move has allowed Vickie’s to expand and optimize its business as well as enhancing its effectiveness and quality as a full service Salon and Day Spa.
We provide hair and nail services, massages, facials, waxing, makeup application, air brush spray tanning, ear piercing, reflexology and aromatherapy as well as carry a wide variety of retail products, including Young Living Essential Oils. We are open 6 days a week; 9am-8pm Monday thru Friday and 8am-2pm Saturday.
